Who is Andy Park?

Andy Park is an award-winning Professional Photographer who specializes in San Francisco Bay Area Weddings, but also travels throughout the world for weddings.  Not children, not family portraits, not buildings nor landscapes, but WEDDINGS. His work is outstanding and acclaimed in both color and black-and-white.  His work has been written about in National Magazines.

He also excels in the "photo-journalistic technique."  This is where YOU do the marrying, and HE does the pictures.   Not the "say cheese" type stuff.   This is photography "au natural,"  when you usually don't know the picture is being taken.     Andy Park does a number of things differently from the "ordinary" wedding photographer:

•     He is NOT your Wedding Director; he is there all day, whenever you need him but he does not walk up looking at his watch saying "It's time to cut the cake, I've got another wedding to do!" YOU set the time he works.

•     He does all his own weddings.  You know the "horror stories."  You hire a photographer and, on your wedding day, his 16-year-old nephew shows up, or a free-lance newspaper photographer, because the studio has booked three weddings at the same time.  With Park it's FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.  With an Andy Park Wedding, ANDY PARK shoots the wedding. 

•     He gives you a contract in writing to guarantee his performance.  Another "horror story" is when your wedding photographer calls you two weeks before the wedding and cancels and then it's too late to get another photographer.   With Andy Park, you get a written contract that binds him to the entire day, the date and the time you set.  Not even the President's daughter can get him if you've booked him.

•     He uses "zoom" lenses.  This allows Andy Park to get intimate, close-up scenes and "portraits" without being "in your face."  At the ceremony, he is unobtrusive. The wedding is the show, NOT the photographer.  

    Andy Park also takes only about 15 minutes to do ALL the formal pictures after the ceremony (usually about 50-70).  He is FAST.  Warn your caterer.   You WILL be there at your reception on time and before your guests die of thirst or starve to death.   Again, you know the "horror story:"  The guests wait, and wait,  while the photographer takes an hour or more to take pictures and wears everybody out.  Not with Andy Park.

    Andy Park shows you EVERY picture he takes; usually between 300 and 1000 total, on average.  Not just a selected group in an album.  After all, it's YOUR wedding.  YOU should have the right to see every picture taken.  YOU are the one to select the pictures, NOT the photographer.

WHY IS HIS PRICING SO DIFFERENT???

    In spite of the unique pricing method, (Click on "Cost" at top or bottom of the page to see ) Andy Park provides QUALITY wedding photography.  He is a member, or past member of the prestigious  Wedding Portrait and Photographers International, National Press Photographers Association and several other professional societies. Also, you are welcome to talk to previous clients, including the son of the President of a major American business; the grand-daughter of a US Vice President, the couple from a major Society family from Pacific Heights.  EVERY wedding is special to Andy Park

    Andy Park lets you view the pictures in the comfort of your home.  And also show them to family and friends for selection on the Internet.  You don't have to come into a studio and have the photographer stand over you like a used car salesman while you select your pictures. You can view the previews online to make any selections. 

    You can also arrange, at no charge, to have your pictures available on the Internet with a password so family, friends and others you select can see the pictures, but only the images YOU want them to see.   Again, the choice is YOURS. Again, no extra charge.

    You can also purchase, for $200, after the weddings, CD's or a DVD with ALL the digital files from your wedding which will allow you to make your own prints, albums or even take them to the drug store to be printed.  There is no "catch" in this arrangement.  Read the Contract.
